Friends and Neighbors,

I want to let you know that after serious consideration I have decided to run for Pierce County Assessor-Treasurer in 2012.

As Pierce-County Assessor Treasurer, I will be a champion advocate for tax relief by working with county and state officials to stop taxing our neighbors out of their homes, make sure assessments are fair, equitable and timely, and I want to get help for small businesses so they can create more living wage jobs.

I look forward to meeting and talking with many of you over the next 18 months, hearing more about your stories and the issues that your families and businesses face, and how we can work together for change.
